For logistics and asset-management teams, old wooden pallets piling up in the warehouse not only take space but create three real risks: (1) Fire risk - dry wood is a dangerous fuel, especially stacked high in an enclosed area; (2) Workplace-accident risk - unstable stacks can topple; (3) Loss of value over time - pallets left 1-2 more years rot and lose buy-back value. For procurement and finance teams: accounting for old pallets
For finance and accounting teams, wooden pallets are usually recorded as fixed assets (if valued over 10 million VND) or as a direct cost. On disposal, revenue from selling old pallets is booked under other income (account 711). Which pallets does ICD buy?
We buy all types of wooden pallet: 2-way, 4-way, EPAL, Loscam and special-size pallets. Sizes from 800×600 mm to 1400×1200 mm are accepted. We do not buy plastic or metal pallets - wooden pallets only.
What payment methods are available?
Immediate payment by cash or bank transfer right after counting and loading at your warehouse. No advance payment, no deposit. For large lots of 1,000 pieces or more, payment may be 50% at your warehouse and 50% once the goods reach ICD's yard.
After selling old pallets, is there a discount on new pallets from ICD?
Yes - customers buying new pallets within the same transaction receive 5-10% off the new-pallet price depending on quantity.
